AquaCheck Soil Moisture and Temperature Probe

Information

AquaCheck sensors measure soil moisture and temperature every 10 cm depth, providing real-time moisture dynamics throughout the entire root profile.

SKU: N/A Category:

Description

The humidity sensor is of the capacitive type, which means that its measurement is the average value of the volume of soil around it, this value being more representative than resistive sensors due to surface contact with the soil.
They usually have several capacitive sensors along the length of the probe, which means that they measure the soil moisture throughout its depth.
On the other hand, due to their robust construction, no maintenance when not in use and the 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, they are proving to be a great success with farmers all over the world.
The capacitive Aquacheck sensors are characterised by a high accuracy for all soil types and a high stability over time, which makes them reliable.
It is also not necessary to calibrate it when changing the soil from one season to the next.
They have a diameter of 32 mm constant along the entire length of the probe, which means that no specific auger is required and allows a perfect installation at the desired depth.
The diameter of the probe is independent of the number of sensors included in the probe and therefore of its length or the probe model. The range of lengths covered by the probes is wide: 20 cm, 40 cm, 60 cm, 80 cm, 100 cm, 120 cm and 150 cm. The most versatile is the 60 cm probe with 6 humidity sensors and 6 temperature sensors.
