Description

Typical applications include measurement of PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) on plant canopies in outdoor environments, greenhouses and growth chambers, and measurements of reflected or transmitted PPFD under canopy in the same environments.
Quantum sensors are also used to measure PAR (photosynthetically active radiation)/PPFD in aquatic environments, including saltwater aquaria where corals are grown.
The sensor includes an IP68 marine grade stainless steel cable connector to simplify removal and replacement of the sensor for maintenance and recalibration.
