Cooperative Society
COCOPE S.Coop. was established on November 21, 1968, and its registered office is located in PEÑAFIEL (Valladolid). It currently has more than 700 members, covering the provinces of Burgos, Palencia, Segovia and Valladolid. The activity of the company, at the beginning, was only the commercialization of cereals, with six silos and a capacity of 12,000 tons. But the cooperative’s activities soon increased, expanding its facilities with new warehouses and premises for the supply of phytosanitary products, seeds, fertilizers, etc… During the 80’s the supply of diesel oil B began and the fertilizer blending machine started to operate. Later on, a new seed selection center was installed and the capacity was increased with new warehouses.
